I have settle on an itinerary!  Very complicated to find but I settled on British Airways from Miami to Prague.  This year's trip will included Prague, Vienna, Saltzburg, Munich, Nuremberg, Rothenberg, and Berlin. Our day in the Alps will be a day trip from Salzburg. The trip will be June 4th to the 22nd. Sample itinerary of sights is below.  I will be starting the process of buying tickets for transportation and sights. There is a $600 penalty in place for dropping out at this point.  This covers the $100 air deposit and other activities I have booked.

What is my experience?

I took the 2024 seniors to some of the big cities in Europe such as London and Paris. I use my personal experiences, the Internet, and tour books to find the best sights and accommodations.  The 2025 trip will be my thirteenth year taking graduating seniors to Europe. I have been to Europe other times including backpacking on my own for six weeks. 

What will this trip cost?

This itinerary will cost $3,000.  

The $3,000 will cover:

Payment
I collect a deposit before the summer break.  This allows me to get an idea of interest.  It also allows me to start shopping for flights during the summer. Deposits are $300.  I’m very flexible on payments. I will work with you to set up a payment schedule that fits your needs.  Ten $300 payments is the most common but other options are available.

If you get in summer, talk to admissions at your school.  Explain situation.  Sometimes schools will change their minds.  FSU is very cooperative.  FIU is not. 

Getting back on the 22nd is tight for the 24th but I have seen it done.  Proper planning before trip and good communication during trip is key.

Accommodations
While in Europe, we stay at a combination of hostels and hotels.  All are thoroughly researched before booking.  While price is a factor, all effort is made to provide unique experiences.  Also, staying near the action is key. 

Transportation
I look for flights that have the fewest connections and the best price.  While in Europe, we will be traveling by rail, boat, and plane.  More than likely, a rail pass will be provided to each participant.  ​

Chaperones 

Most chaperones are teachers with Broward County Schools.  All have FBI background checks.
