Europe 2018 - London - Paris - Belgium - Amsterdam
This page will be updated with the latest information on this exciting trip. Currently there is 0 spots left for the 2018 trip. Planning for the trip has been moving along. Due to the time to get from Normandy to the Alps, I had to change the itinerary. We will replace the Alps with Brugge, Belgium and Amsterdam. Also, Mont St Michel had to dropped due to the lack of train service to the area on Sundays. We will be spending the night in Brussels. We will be flying British airways from Amsterdam to London. All rooms are now booked. They may change if I find a better location or price. With the lost hurricane days and me being out a week, many are behind on payments. Being paid up by May is key. The pace can be worked out. If you have any special request as far as payment, please let me know.
Trip meeting 4/10 at 6:30 in P-14. This meeting is for parents to help prepare for the trip.

What is my experience?
I will be taking the 2017 seniors to Germany, Czech Republic and Austria. I use my personal experiences, the Internet, and tour books to find the best sights and accommodations. The 2018 trip will be my sixth year taking graduating seniors to Europe. I have been to Europe ten times including backpacking on my own for six weeks. I have visited almost all the cities on the current itinerary.
What will this trip cost?
This itinerary will cost $3,000.
The $3,000 will cover:
Accommodations 14 nights/Maybe 15
Some Breakfasts are included.
Expenses in Europe
All money is refundable until airfare is purchased. There is a penalty if you drop after this time. Airfare will be purchased in the fall of 2017.

I collect a deposit before the summer break. This allows me to get an idea of interest. It also allows me to start shopping for flights during the summer. Deposits usually are $300. I’m very flexible on payments. I will work with you to set up a payment schedule that fits your needs. Ten $300 payments is the most common but other options are available.
Dates of Summer Session (Not updated for 2018. Many universities have not released dates)
The last day of school is June 6th. The trip will begin June 7th or June 8th. The goal was to get back before summer “B” at the state universities. This will be very hard in 2017. Following are the start dates for summer “B”. I can’t guarantee we will be back for the June 26 start date. Some students have come home early but this can increase cost of trip at times. No problems for fall acceptance.
UCF June 25
FSU June 25

While in Europe, we stay at a combination of hostels and hotels. All are thoroughly researched before booking. While price is a factor, all effort is made to provide unique experiences. Also, staying near the action is key.
I look for flight that have the fewest connections and the best price. While in Europe, we will be traveling by rail, boat, and plane. More than likely, a rail pass will be provided to each participant.
All chaperones are teachers with Broward County Schools.
The trip is in no way connected or sponsored by Broward County Schools or Deerfield Beach High School.
Please fill this information sheet and return it to me.
Accommodations may change if upgrades available.
